Manager Profile Settings Instructions
1. Lineups -
Give me your starting lineups vs RHP and vs LHP. Your starting lineup
will play every game, with the sole exception of your catcher, who will be replaced by his backup the percentage of time you designate
up to 20% of the time.
2. Pitching Rotation -
Give me your 4 or 5 man pitching rotation. You can also set your rotation as strict
or skip
3. Bullpen -
There are 6 roles in your bullpen. Please assign at least one reliever to each role, in order that you would
like to use them in that situation. If you have one or two really bad relievers, just dump them in mopup or low on your long relief
list and they will only get used if other relievers are
exhausted. You can use as many or as few relievers in your pen as you want,
although I suggest using at LEAST four. Otherwise they get too tired from
overuse.

4. Depth Chart/ Subs -
This is where you can specify defensive replacements,
pinch hitters, platoons, anything you want to do with your lineups. Just let me know what you want to do and I will try to set it
up. Also, remember that you have a backup catcher who will start up to 20% of the games. For pinch hitters, just specify what order
you would like them to be used. Obviously, you should put your best pinch hitter at your number 1 or 2 slot. All this depth chart
stuff is optional, you can fine tune your team as much or as little as you want.
5. Managerial Tendencies -
This controls how the
computer manages your team. Please rank how often you want the computer to do the following things. The five ratings are:
MOST FREQUENT
--- MORE FREQUENT --- NEUTRAL --- LESS FREQUENT --- LEAST FREQUENT

c. Stealing Bases
d. Running (Take extra base)

f. Pinch hit for pitchers

h. Pinch hit for platoon partner

l. Pitcher make pickoff throws
m. Pitching out
n. Use relievers
o. Use closers
p. Hold runners
on base
q. Infield in
r. Guard lines
These tendencies are all optional and by default are all set to neutral. If you aren't sure, just
leave them at neutral. The computer is pretty smart and knows
what it is doing.
